Benefits of 0BB PV Module Technology in Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement

0BB technology cancels the main grid of cell plate and replaces the main grid function with welding strip. The welding strip is directly connected with the fine grid to collect the fine grid current and then derive the current.

Compared with the prior art, the 0BB solution has the following three obvious advantages.

For the four realization paths of 0BB, in the packaging process, the special packaging adhesive film (skin film) shall be firstly used to fix the cell sheet, and then the cell sheet shall be further packaged with the packaging adhesive film. Otherwise, there will be misalignment between the cells and the current cannot be transferred smoothly. Therefore, the encapsulant film becomes one of the key materials of 0BB technology.
